Action Network Ladder Statuses & Scheduling Explained
Action Network Ladder Statuses
Once Action Network Ladders have been published they can be set to one of three statuses: Active, Closed, or Stopped. You can control the status by selecting the toggle switch next to the Status you want to move your ladder into.
- Active: The Active status means your Ladder is running. New Activists can enter the ladder and go through the journey that you've set up.
- Closed: The Closed status prevents any new Activist from entering your ladder, but anybody who has already entered the Ladder will continue on the journey until they reach an exit point.
- Stopped: The Stopped status both prevents any new Activist from entering your Ladder, and also forces all Activists already on the ladder journey to exit.
Scheduling The Status Of Your Ladder
1. To schedule a change in your Ladder Status click on the link below the toggle switched labelled Schedule activate, close, or stop date.
2. Choose the status you wish to schedule, and set the date and time you want the status to change, then click SAVE.

The time zone for status changes is Eastern Time. You can use a time zone converter like
this one to quickly choose the right time.
3. The Ladder page will now show the scheduled change. If you need to change this, or cancel the future status change simply click on Edit or Cancel as necessary.
