How To Add An Activist To Your Action Network Group

If you become aware of a member who should be appearing within your local party in Action Network, but are unable to locate them there's a quick solution. Follow these steps to add them manually, but always
raise a support ticket so that we can investigate the issue.
1. Once you become aware of a missing member, or an activist requests to be added to your group, capture their email address and head to the top menu of Action Network, and click on People.
2. From the drop down menu, click on the Activists link.
3. On the next page, click on the green + NEW ACTIVIST button.

Hopefully before you've got to this stage you've double-checked that the activist doesn't already exist within your local party. But if you haven't just search their email address or name using the search box on this page.
4. You'll be presented with a form to complete to add the activist. The only field you need to complete is the Email field. Just enter the activist's email address, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit SAVE & ADD ACTIVIST.
5. If the activist already has a record within Action Network you'll see a message like this, and the rest of their details will populate automatically. You do not need to change any of their details.
If you're adding a member and don't get this message, and no activist details are returned just
raise a support ticket.
6. If you're adding a supporter to your group add any of their missing details. At the bottom of the form hit the SAVE ACTIVIST button. The activist is now added to your group.
