How to Follow or Unfollow Support Site Categories, Sections and Articles

Staying updated with the latest support content is an excellent way to ensure you’re always informed about updates, new features, and best practices. By following specific support site categories or articles on the Green Party Digital Support Site, you can receive notifications when content is added or updated. Here’s how you can manage your subscriptions effectively.

Why Follow Support Site Categories, Sections, or Articles?

Following categories, sections or individual articles ensures you’ll:

  • Stay informed about important updates and new resources.
  • Receive timely notifications when an article is updated.
  • Save time by focusing on the content most relevant to your role or needs.

This feature is especially helpful for staying up-to-date on topics like Action Network, membership management, and troubleshooting guides. Why not follow some articles or categories relevant to your role in your local party?

IMPORTANT: You'll need to be logged into the Support Site to follow articles or categories. If you're not logged in when you try to follow an article or category you'll be prompted to log in.

How to Follow a Support Site Category Or Section

  1. Locate the Category:

    • From the homepage or the navigation menu, find the category you want to follow- for example Action Network, or section, for example Action Network Email.

  2. Follow the Category or Section:

    • Click the three dots next to the category name and select Follow.

    • You can also follow the category by clicking into the category and clicking the Follow button on the right on the next page.

  3. Manage Your Preferences:

    • If you no longer wish to receive updates, simply return to the category page and click Unfollow.

How to Follow a Specific Article

IMPORTANT: If you've already followed the category or sub-category the article is in you won't have the option to follow individual articles within that category as you'll already receive notifications of all updates to that category.
  1. Find the Article:

    • Use the search bar or browse through the categories to locate the article you want to follow and open it.
  2. Click the Follow Button:

    • Open the article and click the Follow button at the top of the page, to the right of the article title.
    • This action subscribes you to notifications for updates to this specific article.



  3. Unfollow an Article:

    • If you no longer need notifications for this article, go back to the article and click Unfollow.

Managing Notifications

To manage all your subscriptions in one place:

  1. Select Your Profile Icon:

    • Click on your profile icon at the top right of the support site. If you haven't set a profile picture this icon will show your initials.

  2. Select Your Profile:

    • From the box that appears select View Profile.

  3. Go to Your Watchlist:

    • From the menu on the left hand side, click on Watchlist.

  4. View and Unfollow Followed Resources:

    • Use the navigation links at the top to move between followed Articles, Categories, and Sections.
    • Click on the Unfollow button next to each followed resource to unfollow it.


Tips for Effective Use

To make sure you receive all updates you might want to add support@thegreenparty.zohodesk.eu to your whitelist (or safe senders list) to avoid emails going to junk!
  • Follow High-Impact Categories: Prioritise following categories or sections relevant to your role, such as "Action Network," "Membership Management," or "Action Network Email".
  • Stay on Top of Updates: Use this feature to stay updated on articles critical to your role, like troubleshooting guides or processes you use regularly.
  • Unfollow When No Longer Needed: If a category or article becomes irrelevant, unfollow it to declutter your notifications.
