MODX: Managing Social Media Links

MODX: Managing Social Media Links

You can add site-wide links for social media pages in your Context Settings by asking the support team to update the relevant links to your YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages.
If you don’t have your own websites you can leave these as the default National links or perhaps add one for your Region.

YouTube Video On Your Home Page

By default on your Home Page you have a space for a featured YouTube video. This can be a film from the National YouTube account like one of our recent election broadcasts or it might be a film from your region or local party.

You can specify which YouTube video to use by navigating to your Home Page->Template Variables->Links. You can then add the YouTube link in the format you see below along with a Title which you specify underneath this.

All MODX guides were written by volunteers, and haven't been updated in several years. If you spot any errors use the thumbs down icon below to leave feedback.
