Wordpress: User Accounts, Logins, and Passwords

Logging in as an administrator or editor

To be able to edit a WordPress website, you will need to login with a user account that has been added to the site you want to edit.
You can login by adding /gpewlogin to the end of the URL for your local party site.

Your username will always be an email address. This email address should be a personal email address, the one that appears on your membership record.
Your password will have been set when you were first invited to any of our WordPress websites.
Alert
If you have forgotten your password, or need to change it, you will need to raise a support ticket. Self-service password resets are no longer available.

Adding a user to a WordPress website

You need to be an administrator for a WordPress website to be able to add new users.
To do so, go to Dashboard > Users > Add New User.

If that person already has a WordPress account, you can add them by putting in their email (the one associated with their membership).
If they don't have a WordPress account, then you will need to create a new user for them.
