How to Change Your Green Party Membership Type

This guide is for Green Party members with a sole membership who want to change their membership type online. Joint members should contact the Membership Team at members@greenparty.org.uk instead.

You can use the Green Party membership portal to view the membership options available to you and change your membership type.

Joint members should contact the Membership Team at members@greenparty.org.uk before making any change. Switching from a joint membership to a sole membership may result in the second member's membership being cancelled.

Before you start

You will need access to the email account connected to your membership. Read the new amount, the date the change starts and any immediate charge shown by the portal before you confirm anything.

Use the button below to open the secure Green Party membership portal. On most computers the portal opens over this page. On a mobile browser it may open in a new window.

Manage my membership

If you would rather ask the Membership Team to make the change, email members@greenparty.org.uk. Do not include card or bank details in your email.

Sign in to the membership portal

Select Manage my membership. The membership portal will open.
Enter the email address connected to your membership, then select Continue.

Enter the one-time password sent to your email address, then select Login. Check your spam or junk folder if the message has not arrived.

Change your membership type

The screenshots below are examples. The membership types, prices and dates shown in your portal may be different.

Select the box showing your current membership type and cost.

Select Edit Subscription.

Open the membership type menu, then choose the membership type you want.

Check the membership type, new amount, the date the change starts and any charge described on screen.
If those details are correct, select Update Subscription.
Keep the on-screen or email confirmation for your records.

If the option you need is not shown

Do not choose a different membership type as a workaround. Contact the Membership Team at members@greenparty.org.uk and explain the change you want to make. Do not send card or bank details by email.
