How To Remove Yourself As An Administrator Or Organiser

How To Remove Yourself As An Administrator Or Organiser

We recommend that local party chairs take responsibility for adding and removing organisers and administrators, but you're able to remove yourself from an admin or organiser role easily from within Action Network. If you need to remove somebody else then check this guide: How To Add & Remove Action Network Administrators & Organisers.

How To Remove Yourself As An Action Network Administrator Or Organiser

1. Navigate to the Group from which you want to be removed. You should be on the main Group management page. It doesn't matter which tab you're on, but you should be able to see the Group management menu, which starts with the Statistics tab.

2. On the right-hand side of the page you should see the sidebar, from which you can quick-launch sponsored Actions. Beneath this you will see link allowing you to leave the Group.

3. Click on the text that reads Click here to leave this group.

4. A confirmation message will appear below this link. Select the Yes option.

Will This Unsubscribe Me From The Group?

This will not unsubscribe you from a Group, but will remove you as an administrator or organiser. If you want to manage your subscriptions you can do so at https://actionnetwork.org/subscriptions.
