You may be sharing an email address as part of a job-share for a position held within the Green Party. To make life simpler, you can set up multiple identities within our email platform so that the sender details, and signature will align with the actual sender. In this guide we'll show you how to set up an additional identity for your email to support you in your role.
Adding A New Identity
1. Once you're logged into webmail, click on the Settings icon on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. From the menu that appears, select Identities.
3. You'll see a list of existing identities. It's a good idea to look at what's already set up so that you can ensure consistency across all Identities.
4. At the top of the page you'll see two icons to Create & Delete identities. Click on the Create (+) icon.
5. Fill in the fields for the Display Name, Email, Company, and Reply-To address. If the identity you're creating is going to be the primary user of the email address you can also set it as the default identity by using the toggle switch marked Set default. Once you're done, you can create your email signature in the box below.
6. Once you're happy with everything click on the button marked Save.
Using Your Email Identity
Once your Identity is set up you can switch between any Identities when composing an email. You'll see the From field will have two arrows on the right-hand side.
Clicking on these arrows will allow you to switch between identities when composing your email. This will set the sender name, signature, and anything else you've personalised for this Identity.
