MODX: An Introduction

MODX: An Introduction

Why Have A Website?

Every Local Green Party should have a website visible to the local community if they are active and fighting elections. As an active local party your website can be a useful campaigning tool to let members and supporters know what you care about and how you are active in your local area. Your website is a useful place to host news stories, to publicise events and to gain new supporters.

What Is MODX?

MODX is what is known as a Content Management System (CMS) and is a visual way of creating and managing your website. It requires a small amount of technical knowledge but, once set up, it is easy to use for most day to day tasks.

Does MODX Cost Anything?

There are no costs involved in using a MODX site. All costs are covered by GPEW.
